HED Wheels announces today that they have a limited edition polished Emporia GA Pro wheel set on offer. These wheels feature HED’s newest rim design for gravel with an internal width of 25mm. Riding Gravel tested the predecessor to the Emporia wheels back when the line was called “Eroica”. You can see what we thought of those wheels in our final review here.

Here is what the HED press release has to say about these flashy hoops:

Weighing in at just 1,535g (lighter than many carbon gravel wheels), the Emporia GA Pro – Silver Edition is the lightest alloy gravel wheel in HED’s current line up. It features a 25mm internal width, 30mm external width, designed specifically to pair with a wide range of gravel tire options without pinching and inhibiting the performance of tire sidewalls. The increased tire volume also allows the rider to ride at lower tire pressures for a smoother, quicker ride quality – wheels that are equally fast and flashy

The wheel sets are available in standard builds in 700c diameter only. Standard Shimano, XDR, and Campagnolo free hub bodies are options available for drive train compatibility. HED is setting the retail price for these exclusive wheel sets at $1200.00 USD.

The HED Silver Edition Emporia GA Pro wheels are only being offered for a limited time. Once stock is out, the wheels will no longer be available. See your local bike shop, contact your online retailer, and go to HED’s website at www.HEDcycling.com to learn more.
