Dirty 40 Race

The Dirty 40 is a popular race in Vermont that took place Saturday, August 30th. Saturday’s race covered 60 miles, with approximately 40 miles of gravel/dirt roads through some of the most scenic landscapes of Vermont. The race brought together more than 300 riders of all abilities and disciplines from the US and Canada.

“The Dirty 40 Race is on September 5th, 2015 in Derby, Vermont.  With a field limit of 500 riders, this 70 mile unsanctioned gravel road race covers 5600 feet of elevation gain on the gravel back roads through some of the most scenic pristine landscapes of Vermont.   There is no prize purse but bragging rights are bestowed.  The $50 registration fee includes: neutral support and broom wagon assistance, fully supported and stocked feedzone with passed free waterbottles,  amazing post-race lunch and live music at the Apres-Velo party located at the finish, professional electronic chip timing, handcrafted trophy and jersey for winners.”
