The Gravel Race with a Payout – Wicked Wilson 100

<Back to News Home |

Another race update came across our desk. This time it’s the Wicked Wilson 100 (and 50) in Wilson, Kansas on Saturday, September 13. In it’s second year, the Wicked Wilson is looking to get more people out to check out their great terrain. There is a payout to top finishers in each category. We don’t have any indication at this point as to how much and how many, but we suspect that it will depend on the number of racers.

The Wicked Wilson a fully supported race, so it will be an great opportunity for those that just want to ride some great gravel and not have to worry about not finishing. There are four different categories to choose from: Women, Men 45 and over, Men 44 and under, and Singlespeed.

The race notes that you get the following for your money:

  • Course is extremely well marked
  • Cue Sheets and Maps provided
  • Course up-loaded to “Ride with GPS” one week prior to race
  • Fully stocked check points
  • Drop bag service
  • On course rider pick-up service
  • Post ride meal
  • Cash pay-outs to top finishers in WW100
