Get Off The Couch And Ride! A Pathway To Ride Day Fitness #1 – with host, Bobby Kennedy
Introduction by Guitar Ted: Today Riding Gravel is excited to announce a series of videos which will focus on how anyone can get from ‘zero to race day shape‘. Realizing that COVID-19 may have caused many of you to take up couch surfing and that your riding time may have suffered from a lack of focus, Bobby Kennedy of Salty and Stupid Cycling has created a series of videos to help anyone get off the couch and ride. While the main purpose was to help riders to be successful in his events; The Stupid Pony and the Salty Lizard 100, these same principles can be applied for any event, be it a race or just an event where gravel riding is involved.
Bobby’s first guest is Pat Casey of Peak State Fit. check out the first in the “Get Up Off The Couch and Ride!” series here. (You Tube link- Note that due to current COVID-19 protocol, both Bobby and his guest are masked in this piece.)
We will drop a new video link to the series every couple of weeks or so. Look for more gear and fitness tips. Don’t forget to check out Salty and stupid Cycling as well for news on the Salty Lizard 100 and Stupid Pony events. Stay tuned for more Get Up Off The Couch and Ride! videos coming soon! Get up off the couch and ride!
Riding Gravel would like to thank Salty and Stupid Cycling and Bobby Kennedy for their work and willingness to share it on Riding Gravel.
