While many think of the gravel road/back roads scene as being a Mid-West thing, there has been a culture of “roubaix” type, back road racing and “ultra-cross” style racing going on in the East for several years. Events like Canada’s Paris-Ancaster, or Tour of Battenkill and Iron Cross have been happening out East for years and now with the additional interest in gravel riding, builders and brands are trotting out new designs for these sorts of rides. One of those brands focusing specifically on the scene is Grava Bikes based out of North Carolina.

Grava Bikes is pleased to announce their new steel frame, The Revenuer. The Revenuer is handbuilt in the US from a custom blend of Deda and Columbus tubing. It features a 44mm headtube for compatibility with tapered steerer tube forks, a PF30 bottom bracket to accommodate any crankset type and to give single speed setup capability with the use of a PF30 EBB, 142x12mm rear thru axle, and a full carbon fork with tapered steerer tube and 100x15mm thru axle. The frame and fork have clearance for 40mm tire widths. Frame is powder coated for increased durability in harsh conditions.

Grava will be on hand at the upcoming Darby Roubaix with Revenuer demo bikes. We will be taking deposits on the frames from the first production run and selling the remaining inventory of our carbon fiber Maple Sally framesets (regularly $1750, closeout price $1250) on site.
